Privacy Policy

Nobody likes to have their private information messed with, and we at KickMetrics hate seeing companies take advantage of the information that customers give them. As such, we promise to treat your information with utmost care and respect. We take your privacy very seriously, and we created this “Privacy Policy” to help safeguard your privacy and to give you the peace of mind in knowing how your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the products, services, websites, and mobile apps offered by KickMetrics or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies (collectively our “Service”).

Collecting Information

Throughout this Privacy Policy, we use the term “personal information” to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used, whether in combination with other information or otherwise, to identify a specific person (for example, when you are included in a statistic of people over a certain age on our Service). In order to provide you with our full range of Service with the best user experience, we may collect the following types of information:

Information You Provide

When you sign up for a KickMetrics account or other KickMetrics Service or promotion that requires registration, we ask you for personal information, such as your name, email address, password, name, gender, and age (to verify that you are 13 years old or older – see the section on Children’s Privacy below). There may be other information that you enter voluntarily, such as your mobile phone number. In some cases, we may request a credit card or other payment account information, but we NEVER STORE your sensitive payments information ourselves in any way; instead, we use third party payment card processing companies engaged by us to process payments in connection with the Service.

These third parties have committed to KickMetrics to process your payment card information in a secure, PCI-compliant manner that protects your personal information. Your credit card information is processed and retained by these third parties and will not be passed on to KickMetrics, so nobody at the Company has access to your payment information.

Also, when you write us to request support, our customer support representatives may look at your information in order to assist you. We may also access and use your information to compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties or to comply with applicable law or legal process.

We monitor user activity on our systems for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, we monitor user activity in order to protect our users from people with malicious intentions and to ensure compliance by users with our Terms of Service. Secondly, we use this information to support you when you write us about an issue you are trying to resolve so we can see the history behind your information and to develop and improve the service and your experience with the service.

We may provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of KickMetrics, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

If we are involved in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, combination or sale of any or all of our assets), your information may be transferred, but we will require the surviving or successor company to initially abide by this policy with respect to your personal information and you will receive prior notice if your personal information will be used contrary to this policy following the transaction.

We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of people who used our Service this week, or how many player evaluations were created this month, but such information does not identify you individually.

Children’s Privacy

KickMetrics does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Furthermore, we do not target our service to children under these ages nor will we ever knowingly communicate with children under the age of 13. When we work with teams and groups with children under 13, the parents/ guardians of the children are responsible for entering and managing their children’s information or authorizing others to do so.

Security and Retention

The security of your information is important to us. We store our own information in KickMetrics and feel that the service is safe to use for any person age 13 and over. KickMetrics uses SSL to secure transmission of data between our servers and your browser. Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL, is an encryption technology that provides secure communications over the Internet. It does this by verifying that the server to which you are connected is actually the one it claims to be. It also encrypts all transactions between the parties communicating. Encryption is the scrambling of information as it is transmitted over the Internet to protect your confidentiality. Personal and credit card information passing between your computer and KickMetrics’s services is encrypted. This means that while your information is in transit it is scrambled so that only KickMetrics and the service providers we leverage to run our service can reassemble it in its original text format.

KickMetrics enforces the use of the SSL protocol by default on all web pages and mobile application data exchanges for the service to secure all data communications for the service. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure; thus, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information or other information. If you have any questions or concerns about security, drop us a line at and we will do our best to respond to them.

We retain information as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. For example, even if a Team’s administrator closes down a team, the players and parents may still want to access to completed player evaluations, and thus we retain this information to satisfy other customers’ rights to see their information. In addition, we may retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigation, enforce our Terms of Service, and take other actions permitted by law.

Third Party Sites

Our Sites and Services may integrate with or contain links to other websites and services. For example, you may be able to order team or group themed merchandise through one of our partners. Those third party sites and services have their own privacy statements and terms of conditions that we do not control. We encourage you to review these statements and terms and contact the third party with any questions. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or other actions of these third parties.

Changes to Privacy Policy

If we decide to change this privacy policy (most changes are expected to be minor), we will post the changes on this site, and if there is a material change to our privacy policy for any reason, then we will notify you promptly via email to the address we have on file for you (unless you have opted out of email communications from KickMetrics).
